Dr. Chao is a family physician with a special interest in skin conditions. He trained with numerous well-known dermatologists and surgeons at the University of Ottawa, University of Alberta and British Columbia to advance his knowledge and techniques in the assessment and treatment of various skin conditions. He practices within the scope of primary care skin disease.
Dr. Chao provides patient-centred, evidence-based care for various skin conditions. He is accepting referrals from doctors for patients with various skin problems including:
- Acne
- Actinic keratosis
- Seborrheic dermatitis
- Eczema (atopic and contact dermatitis and other dermatoses)
- Psoriasis
- Warts
- Seborrheic keratosis
- Rosacea
- Alopecia areata
- Skin and mole checks
- Melanocytic lesions and moles
- Melasma and hyperpigmentation
- Periorificial dermatitis
Dr. Chao is excited to see you for any of these skin concerns with a referral from your doctor. Should your skin concern be deemed to be outside the scope of primary care skin disease, Dr. Chao will be happy to refer you to his dermatologist colleagues.
