WRINKLE RELAXERS
(Botox®, Dysport®)
What are Neuromodulators (WRINKLE RELAXERS)?
Neuromodulators are purified proteins that are injected into certain muscles in the face to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. With certain facial expressions often associated with grief, sadness, anger or surprise, muscles in the face move a certain way which create distinct lines and wrinkles in the skin. Unfortunately with aging, these lines and wrinkles may become permanently etched into the skin. Neuromodulator wrinkle relaxers such as Botox® or Dysport® can be expertly injected into these muscles allowing them to relax, thus softening these fine lines and wrinkles and creating a more refreshed, youthful and natural appearance without “looking frozen”.
The Benefits
✔ Reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
✔ Smoother and more relaxed facial complexion

STEROID INJECTIONS
Keloid scars happen when the skin heals after an injury but makes too much scar tissue. This causes the scar to grow bigger, become raised, and sometimes feel itchy or painful.
Steroid injections are a common and effective way to treat keloids. Here’s how they work
✔ A doctor gently injects a type of steroid medicine directly into the keloid.
✔ The medicine helps stop the extra scar tissue from growing.
✔ Over time, the scar becomes flatter, softer, and less red or itchy.
What to expect
✔ The injection takes just a few minutes.
✔ You may need a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart for the best results.
✔ Most people feel only a small pinch or mild pressure during the injection.
Possible side effects (usually mild)
✔ Skin may get lighter (loss of pigment) where the injection was given.
✔ The area might feel a bit thinner for a while.
✔ Sometimes the keloid can come back, but retreatment is possible.
At his cosmetic clinic, Dr. Chao carefully plans each treatment to match your skin type and scar. He uses the smallest dose needed to get results while keeping your skin safe. Our goal is to help you feel more comfortable and confident in your skin

EXOSOMES
Exosomes are tiny messengers your body naturally makes. They come from stem cells and carry helpful information, like growth signals, to other cells. Think of them like little delivery trucks that tell your skin and hair cells how to heal, grow, and stay healthy.
In medical aesthetics, exosomes are used in treatments to:
✔
Improve skin by boosting collagen, which makes skin smoother and firmer.
✔ Reduce signs of aging, like fine lines and uneven texture.
✔ Support hair growth by helping hair follicles work better and grow stronger hair.
Exosome treatments are:
✔ Non-invasive – no surgery or long recovery.
✔ Safe and natural – they work with your body’s own healing process.
✔ Effective for all skin types and both men and women.
At our clinic, we combine exosomes with treatments like microneedling or laser therapy to help them absorb deeper into the skin or scalp. This helps give better, longer-lasting results. Our team will guide you through the process and make a plan that fits your needs.
For hair restoration, Potenza microneedling can be paired with Exosomes instead of radiofrequency, or used together for optimal results. Dr. Chao will recommend the best approach after a thorough cosmetic consultation.

SKIN TREATMENTS
laseMD ultra Laser
The Lutronic Ultra laser, masterfully created by a leading Korean aesthetics company, is a non-ablative fractional, resurfacing laser that treats the most common signs of photoaging. It is a safe treatment for all skin colors.
Photoaging is the aging of skin as a result of cumulative sun exposure over our lifetime.
Signs of photoaging include:
✔ Fine lines and wrinkles
✔ Hyperpigmentation
✔ Age spots
✔ Sun spots (solar lentigines)
✔ Dull and crepey skin
✔ Precancerous sun spots from sun damage (actinic keratoses)
✔ Irregular skin texture including scars
Since Ultra is a resurfacing laser, this means Ultra effectively treats uneven skin texture such as acne scars, leading to smoother brighter skin. Active acne can also be safely and effectively treated with this laser.
Ultra laser treatment can be combined with various optional Skin Boosters to enhance results.
These Skin Boosters include:
✔ Vitamin A to treat acne and acne scars
✔ Tranexamic acid to treat melasma and hyperpigmentation
✔ Vitamin C to brighten skin as a potent, anti-aging antioxidant
✔ Resveratrol to brighten skin as a potent, anti-aging antioxidant
As a non-ablative fractional laser, this means that the Ultra laser creates tiny, controlled micro-injuries in the skin using very precise laser energy, leaving neighbouring areas of the skin intact without removing the skin’s surface layer - the result: faster healing and faster recovery with less downtime and less side effects.
Since Ultra targets only water in the skin, you can get Ultra treatments any time of the year, all year-long. Other lasers and IPL (intense pulsed light) target specific pigments such as brown colours. During the summer months when individuals generally have more tanned skin, these lasers and IPL treatments will be unable to distinguish between the pigments intended to be treated versus the surrounding tanned skin, making these other laser treatments and IPL unable to be safely performed during the summer months. Fortunately, treatments can be done safely with the Ultra all year-long, during any season.
Ultra Laser is truly the ultimate, ultra treatment that rejuvenates and restores skin and is safe for all skin colors, all year round.
The benefits:
✔ Softens fine lines and wrinkles
✔ Stimulates collagen production in the skin
✔ Reduced brown spots, age spots and sun spots
✔ Reduced hyperpigmentation
✔ Evens out skin tone
✔ Evens out skin texture
✔ Creates glowing skin
✔ Treats precancerous sun spots from sun damage
✔ Treats acne scars
✔ Treats active acne
